When I first heard about this blogging thing, I was intrigued.

As I read blogs from all around the world, I was fascinated by the people that were writing, I was stimulated by the thoughts and ideas that were presented and I was challenged by world views very different to my own.

Yet, at the same time, I was frustrated. Not because there were so many self-indulgent, back slapping, ‘look I’m good’ type blogs out there. But simply because there seemed to be no way to ask a question.

Sure, you could ask a question in the comments section of a particular entry, but if you wanted to ask the author a question to get their thoughts you either had to pray they would one day blog about it, email them privately and miss out on the discussion or start your own blog and hope somebody other than your parents would read it.

I like to ask questions. I like to play the devil’s advocate sometimes. I like it when people questions me about the things I’m thinking and what I’ve said. Questions have helped me grow. Questions make faith stronger. Questions are good.

For me, any forum that made it difficult to ask questions was a bad thing. So I swore never to blog.

Two years later I caved in and started my own self-indulgent, back slapping, ‘look I’m good’ blog.

Why? Because to ask questions, you first need to be part of the conversation. Whether it be God, faith, emerging church, traditional church, raising kids, being an Aussie male, cartoons or computers, the questions are always more meaningful when there is conversation to frame them in.

Thus, as part of my contribution to the ‘conversation’ I want to make sure that questions can be asked.

The deal is, if you have a question you’d like to ask me, click on the link below to send me an email and I’ll answer it on the blog. The only qualifiers are that I won’t answer anything crude, rude, lude or nude. Nor will I answer anything that my family feel uncomfortable with me discussing in a public forum.

So ask away. Feel free to ask about anything faith/family/cartooning related or anything else you feel so inclined to ask. If I can’t answer it, there’s bound to be someone come along sooner or later that can.

Email me here to ask a question.
