who is the guy next to your article on the site’s main page?

    Interesting site.

when are you going to grow dreds, Matt?

  2. 2 Matt Glover

That’s Brian McLaren - one of the emerging church gurus. I guess he’s better looking than me!

I’ll start on the dreads tonight.

There is a bit on your head where nothing grows from….. good luck on the dreads

Nah, you could drape the dreds just so, and no one would know. :)

OK you lot. Lay off the bald jokes.

I knew I should ban family from this site…

Hey, Matt, that is an excellent article - no wonder they put it on their site. It just perfectly encapsulates my experience. Great stuff. :) Jude

    Matt,

Your article seems to suggest to a degree that all paths lead to God…. Seems to fly in the face of God being a jealous God, and one who hates “strange fire”. Lev 10.

Also, surely there is room for us to speak the truth in love in regard to our faithfulness to God’s word? After all, what else did Aquila and Pricilla do in Acts 18?

Anyway, God bless you Matt. I hear from my mum (who you dont know) that you are preparing to take a funeral this week. At such times, though we can’t help but be saddened by the fact we live in a fallen world and suffer it’s effects, we can find joy in knowing that our sister has gone to be with the Lord for eternity, in an existance of perfect Joy. This is made possible only because of what Christ has done for her (and for all those who call on His name that his perfect life and righteousness might be acccounted to them). May those who attend the funeral be comforted by the Gospel’s good news to the extention of the Kingdom and the Glory Christ the Good Shepherd our King.
