Sorry you missed the Summit mate but I hear the MB camp was fantastic!

Have to admit that I didn't get to hear much of it either (on staff with Forge and running about organising things) and am looking forward to watching and hearing the sessions when they ready from idearipple...

Digger was right - there was a different feel to it this time about. The venue was different, no meals were served to attendees, and we had more folk there! In my mind, the one thing that was lacking is the space and time as Digger mentioned to hear others stories but I did see lots of folk connect and share while walking to and from electives etc.

But if anyone has some suggestions for the next Summit... let us know.

PS: Don't forget that Training thing that belongs in the name...

Yeah it was a good one, totally different perspective for me this time compared to last, when i was still thinking and dreaming about church planting stuff.

Wasn't as many 'stories' as such this time though, from like everyday people doing mission stuff in their own backyard. Would have been good to hear the story of Mitcham for example, seeing as we were there. Maybe it was told, just didn't hear.

And I remember last time we heard from those amateur theathre people or something,a nd some others.

But other than that, good stuff

Geoff and I were there, and did the next best thing and went and checked out the church history photo board and found you tacked on the end. Forge was fantastic, well worth getting hold of the recordings if you can.

Just tell them it's a mission network - probably not the sort of mission they would expect, but mission nonetheless.

I did a years internship with them a couple of years ago. I should blog about that at some stage. And I'm supposed to be helping shape the 'Transition Stream' at the moment, but I'm not sure where we're up to with that!

typo! unable?

Forge sounds cool. I have to keep being asked by "older" folk in the congregation "do you know what this FORGE thing is?" and I just say "not really- it's something Matt's in to." :)
