I wonder sometimes where the true power behind some worship comes from…
Hmm, not far from what I had planned for churuch in a couple of weeks. Stay out of my notebooks! I like it.
I like this Matt - hilarious. Will link to it from the Ra’ah blog. I have just posted a comment about the use of “electronic toys” at church there.
[B.T.W. Principal of the Baptist Theological College in WA, Brian Harris, is now a contributor at the Ra’ah blog. His latest article, called “Charisma as Disadvantage,” is an excellent comment on leadership and preaching]
mm. see also: “worship? we can’t worship! we’re not at church!”
Oh- the power was out in Croydon, but I was still heading out to evening church, and my Grandma (who is an old Presbyterian with objections to choruses) said with a wicked gleam in her eye: “If the power is out in Mitcham, you’ll have to start handing ’round the hymn books”
Yeah - so we could burn them for light!
have it at the train station, or have it by candlelight, Have it outside in the carparking lot.
Be random and exciting!!
Oi! Matt- I need my blog-reading fix!
I hear ya!
To darn busy - I have a few half written posts that I’ll get around too this week!
Maybe…
