Cartoon Reflection: Organ Donation
1 Comment Published by Matt Glover October 14th, 2006 in Cartoons & CartoonistsI would never suggest such a thing in my church…honestly.
This is one of my first attempts at using a combination of pencil and water colour for a cartoon. Actually, it’s all 100% digital, but I’m using an old version of Painter which mimics natural media really well. And the best thing - there’s no mess […]
I’m too busy and I hate it.
Essays are an invention of the devil. Annual reports are not far behind. Cartoon deadlines are just a pain in the backside…
But, I’ve found blogs are good for procrastinating.
Back to work now.

1 Comment Published by Matt Glover October 11th, 2006 in Romans: Living the Christian LifeIf the message I spoke on the Good Samaritan wasn’t convicting enough, then this week must have been designed to finish me right off.

The Good Samaritan Still Packs a Punch
1 Comment Published by Matt Glover October 11th, 2006 in Hearing the WordTwo weeks ago I had a speaking gig in our morning service and with the passage of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) as my subject.

Anyway, with the shooting of the Amish school girls […]

Dear Members of Westboro Baptist Church,
I read with interest today your intention to use the tragic deaths of five young Amish girls to let the world know that God hates homosexual people.
If your protest had been about gun control or support for […]
I have this dilemma…
The Bible that I bought when I started Uni 17 years ago is falling to bits. The spine has come off and the cover is in tatters. The pages are still fine, though fairly well worn, with a few ‘dog ears’ scattered through out. I like it because of its size and, […]

Dan had his final night with us last Sunday and gave the second part of his excellence series. This was more of a ‘how to’ type message and regardless of how […]
