35

So, it’s my 35th birthday.
As one kind soul reminded me today, it’s halfway to 70, which is nearly 100, which is as good as dead. Charming.
But it has been a fun day. Having holidays on your birthday is a good thing - I got a sleep in, then opened some pressies before breakfast. We took a few photos to remember the day - about a second after the one to the left was taken, J clapped his hands together on my head as hard as he could. Happy birthday Dad! (Note the new jumper. Only my wife can make me look this good!) We then all went to the Urban Life cafe for the morning and played on their playground stuff and ate yummy food. Then we went to the food court of the nearby shopping centre for lunch. Hung out at home in the afternoon before a yummy dinner. Can’t get much better than that!
But I have been wondering, now I’m 35 there are a few things I should probably think about a bit more seriously. Obviously my health should be looked after. Our finances need a going over, but there is one questions that lingers over me…
What am I going to do when I grow up?!!
If you don’t grow up, then you don’t need to answer any of these questions! Time to relax.
Happy birthday you old fart…
