Holidays and stuff
Published July 10th, 2006 in Misc StuffWell, I’m on leave for two weeks to catch up on life and hopefully recover from all the infections that have invaded my body. I burst my left ear drum last week (now that’s pain…) so I’m experiencing the world in mono - which is not so bad when talking to one person, but in a crowded room it’s impossible to hear anything clearly. The doctor will tell me tomorrow whether I will get the hearing back…it’s a little unnerving to think I might not, but there’s little I can do about it.
Anyway, while I’m away from the ‘day job’ I’ll be working on my part of Pulp Crucifiction, the first anthology of Australian Christian Cartoonists. The comic will be launched at the Supanova conference in Sydney sometime in August and will be available for purchase both at the conference and online. Pretty exciting, but I’m way behind schedule…
I’ll still post a few mainly cartoon related things over the next two weeks, but if you’re after the notes from my message last Sunday night on God’s judgement (Romans 2:1-16) you’ll have to wait until I get back.

Hope today is an extra special day for you and your family.
Happy, happy, joy, joy.
Hearing should return to “normal” in about a month. Given that my hearing isn’t great after some childhodd illness, I guess this is the best news I could have received!
And yes Lily, today has been lots of fun!
