The death of Kerry Packer

Kerry Packer has died. He always struck me as a grumpy, ugly, fat, rich guy who seemed to be able to do whatever he wanted. Anyway, many fellow cartoonists (and journo’s etc) hated him with a passion and it’s interesting to see the ‘obituaries’ floating around the blogsphere!
I’ve never worked for any of his magazines or papers so can’t really comment. Though, I wonder if I’ll get a mention in his will…
I hate to admit it…but that made me laugh.
Now think about it…all with breath have a higher Net Worth than this man
(*unless you are in debt).
On Boxing Day 2004, 215,000 people died in an earthquake and tsunami in several Asian countries.
On Boxing Day 2005, Kerry Packer died.
Kerry Packer died with more wealth, than the combined wealth of the 215,000 tsunami victims.
