I was sitting in the food court at Box Hill this morning, sharing a chocolate milk and some biscuits with my not-yet-three-year- old son Thomas.
Suddenly a look of intense concentration came over his face. With a mouthful of biscuit, he looked at me and said,
“Daddy, are we blessed?”

Kerry Packer has died. He always struck me as a grumpy, ugly, fat, rich guy who seemed to be able to do whatever he wanted. Anyway, many fellow cartoonists (and journo’s etc) hated him with a passion and it’s interesting to see the ‘obituaries’ floating around the blogsphere!
I’ve never worked for any of his magazines […]

He is just as much a nurturer and protector and creator as any female figure, but he will do that nurturing and protecting in his own masculine way. It is time […]

Dear friends,
I am forwarding this prayer request from Martin Schmid, an elder in one of our Sydney Baptist churches, who is the brother […]
Let me say upfront that I like U2. I have a couple of CD’s that get a good working out from time to time and when a U2 song comes on the radio the volume gets turned up a bit.
But I have been absolutely stunned by how many emerging church people have gone absolutely crazy […]
