I figured the vinyard was the earth- creation is when he plants the grapes etc. then, Genesis 3 etc and he goes away- it says he liked walking in the garden of eden, but the Bible doesn't mention him strolling after Adam and Eve got kicked out of Eden. Then he sends prophets etc to talk to the farmers (us) and finally his son. I Love that parable... wish I could be there to hear it! Like the cartoon!
